About us
Préselő Winery & Guesthouse is located in the heart of Erdőbénye, on one of Tokaj’s most exciting terroirs.
As a small, family-run boutique winery, we focus on expressing the character of the place and the natural balance of the grapes – and we extend this experience through our guesthouse.
Our wines are produced in small batches with careful handwork, mainly from Furmint, Hárslevelű and Muscat Blanc.
Our goal is simple: clean structure, vibrant acidity and the mineral backbone of volcanic soils.
The winery and the guesthouse together create the full experience: tastings, a calm environment, and a place where it feels good to arrive – and even better to stay.

The namesake of our winery: the old wine-press, a relic from the ancient harvests
The Préselő story
When we launched our winery in Tokaj-Hegyalja, we discovered this old vine-dresser house located in the center of Erdőbénye and we had done our best to renew it in a suitable manner to become our vineyard estate.
Inside of the abandoned house we found this beautiful, industrial relic, double-bedded wine-press, that is placed today in the main part of the yard, being also the eponym of our brand.
The more than 100 years old wine-press has been preserved in a very good shape as the contemporary state-of-the-art technology made in a renowned workshop from Miskolc.
Winehouse
Our vineyards are spreading all around Erdőbénye on almost 8 hectares. The variety of our vineyards’ orientation let us produce approx. 9000 bottles of wine on a yearly basis. Beside the well known Tokaj’s variety of grape based dry wines, we are crafting “Asszú” and late harvest sweet wines as well. Our dedicated passion to make sensational products, we do release for the fourth year “Hárslevelű” based sparkling wines and traditional method sparkling wines as well…
